August 2008, the month of festivities for the May Your Will Be Done Association.
All during this month and for the occasion of the beatification of Fr. Yacoub Capuchin, the Association hosted its Christian Song Festival, the first of its kind in Lebanon and the region; as was affirmed by many highly respected figures in the media field.
The festival which was attended by a large number of people and believers from different parts of the country; was held, in part, indoors in the newly renovated church at the St Joseph College of Capuchin;
the other part was held on the opened grounds of the college.
For a whole month, talented and well known singers, choirs, and musicians filled Batroun summernights with their breath-taking voices and music totally dedicated to the Glory of Jesus Christ our Lord.
A number of well known media speakers also participated in the festival, naming: Mr. Robert Franjieh, Ms. Marie Mounsef, Ms. Pascal Shemali and the poet Ms. Isabelle Zougeib Kesserwani .and last but
not least, Mr. Elie Houshan who was individually honored for his significant support.
The Association also presented all the participants with symbolic mementoes for their outstanding performances.
Special recognition and appreciation was extended to Mr. Joseph Hannoush, general manager of Hannoush Conceptions; Mr. Antoine Doumit, general manager of Lebanon Chemicals; Mr. Marcellino Harek, head of Batroun Municipality; also to Tele-lumiere and Sat7 the two television stations that covered this festival.
August 1st :
The Poet Mrs. Izabelle Zogheib Kesserwani introduced the two performers for that evening; The St. Joseph Church Choir – Beirut and Edwin Lattouf.
Mont-Liban Greek Orthodox Choir was introduced by media speaker Mr. Elie Hawshan.
The Vocalist Ms. Joumana Mdawar and the Musician Mr. Joseph Khalifeh wereintroduced by media speaker Ms. Marie Monsef.
Mr. Elie Hawshan introduced the vocalist Mr. Nizar Fares.
That evening’s performer was Kadisha Choir.
The singer Nicolas Al-Osta was introduced by media speaker Ms. Pascal Chemali
The Agapee Choir was introduced by Mr. Elie Hawshan
The singer Abdo Monzer and his chorus were introduced by media speaker Mr. Robert Franjieh.
